Species: Anolis Carolinensis

One of my favorite things about visiting Florida is watching these little lizards.  They are everywhere.  While eating breakfast outside one morning on our last visit I noticed this guy on the wall.

Most of the time they won’t let you get this close to them but he proved more trusting.  I grabbed my camera and followed him around as he went up and down the wall then jumped on a hibiscus plant.

I was able to get within 2 feet of him multiple times.  I shot for about 15 min. before he had enough and darted into the unknown.
